Friday 31 August
This week we have done another What Came Before this week I chose to do what came before modern electronics.

Electronics have changed a lot from when they first came out.

In 1879 Alexander Graham Bell came up with the idea for a phone that would become legendary. The phones in the 1950’s were called Roarty phone but phones were not used that often but in the 1940s - 1980’s phones became more popular and were more covenant. A decade later the first mobile phone came out in 1973.

1927 came along and the first TV was invented by Philo Taylor Farnsworth when he was only 21. The TV was small and bucky and the screen was black and white, it only had one to two channels. When it first came out TV wasn't that popular but by the 1950’s it was a hit in homes. In 1951 the first live coast to coast telecast was invented.

It was on February 15th, 1946 and Charles Babbage released the almighty computer,  Charles Babbage diced to call it the ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer.) and it was built in the University of Pennsylvania at the of the U.S. military school. It was very big and had a lot of buttons. Computers back then were only used in an office and not at home as they were too big to live in the home.

Electronics have changed a lot from when they first came out and with new brands, they keep changing.
